Although the cost per piece may be higher than with series production, this solution helps limit initial investment and support the product throughout its market introduction and validation phase.

When, on the other hand, the product reaches full-scale production and quantities become more significant, blanking with a dedicated die can become the most suitable solution for optimising unit costs and supporting high production volumes.
