Generational Transition and Innovation: Fratelli Poli at the Festival Città Impresa
On Saturday, March 15, Fratelli Poli participated in the Festival Città Impresa, an event that annually brings together entrepreneurs, managers, and experts to discuss key topics related to business and innovation. Among the most significant moments of the day was the roundtable titled “Generational Transition: Challenges and Opportunities for Business Continuity”, which provided an important opportunity for dialogue on the dynamics of generational transitions in companies.
Representing Fratelli Poli was Claudio Manca, Commercial Director, who took part in the debate alongside a panel of high-level speakers. During his speech, Claudio shared the journey Fratelli Poli is undertaking to ensure a solid and innovative generational transition, also thanks to the experience gained with Futuro Desiderato (www.futurodesiderato.it), the company he founded that supports businesses in organizational and generational change processes, promoting models based on autonomy and shared responsibility.
Particular focus was given to the P-EV (Poli Evoluzione) project, a strategic initiative aimed at digitizing corporate knowledge to ensure its continuity over time. Co-financed by SMACT under the IRISS grant program, the project seeks to transform the implicit knowledge of the team into a structured, easily accessible corporate asset. The system, based on Artificial Intelligence, will allow employees to interact via chat and access a company database at every stage of the design and production of dies. This innovation will make corporate know-how accessible to new generations of workers, promoting continuity and operational efficiency.
Our Commercial Director also reminded us that this project (P-EV) is part of a broader path that Fratelli Poli is pursuing to evolve into a Teal Organization, an organizational model based on trust, autonomy, and shared responsibility. The goal is to create a work environment where people are active participants, capable of making decisions and contributing to the company’s success in an autonomous and informed way. The digitization of knowledge through AI is a key element in this evolution, enabling teams to work more collaboratively and access internal expertise easily, thus fostering distributed decision-making and greater efficiency.
Participation in the Festival Città Impresa was an important opportunity for us to share Fratelli Poli’s evolution and engage with other businesses facing the same challenges. While generational transition is a delicate phase, it also represents a great opportunity to strengthen the company’s future through innovation and a new organizational model.
A special thanks to Città Impresa for creating such a stimulating space for discussion and growth.
