Fratelli Poli brings its know-how into the digital future: P-EV Project successfully completed
After an innovation journey lasting more than a year, Fratelli Poli is pleased to officially announce the completion of the P-EV Project (Poli Evolution), a strategic initiative dedicated to the digitalization of internal know-how and the enhancement of the company’s technical expertise.
A digital project to preserve technical knowledge
Launched in 2024 with the support of SMACT Competence Center and in collaboration with partners such as AzzurroDigitale and the University of Padua, the P-EV Project had the primary goal of transforming our team’s experience and expertise into a structured digital asset.
The technical knowledge developed over decades of work in cold metal forming, the design and manufacturing of progressive and deep-drawing dies, and advanced metal deformation technologies has been codified and made accessible through Artificial Intelligence-based tools. The objective is to enable every team member to easily and immediately consult processes, solutions, and best practices.
Know-how as a strategic asset
For a manufacturing company like Fratelli Poli, now approaching 60 years of experience in die design and manufacturing and in technical metal processing, know-how is not just expertise — it is a strategic asset.
From the very beginning, we recognized the importance of implementing a system capable of:
- Digitizing the technical skills acquired through years of hands-on practice and specialization in cold stamping and precision metalworking
- Creating a knowledge repository accessible through AI-powered conversational interfaces
- Supporting operational continuity and knowledge transfer, particularly with a view to generational transition
Technical expertise at the core of innovation
The core of our business remains the technical and craftsmanship-driven ability to tackle complex challenges in cold metal stamping, custom die manufacturing, production process simulation, and highly specialized machining operations.
These competencies, combined with the digital technologies implemented within the P-EV framework, have enabled Fratelli Poli to further improve the quality of its solutions, increasing efficiency, precision, and production standards.
Another step toward an Evolutionary Teal organization
The P-EV Project is part of a broader cultural evolution within the company, oriented toward an Evolutionary Teal organizational model, based on trust, autonomy, and shared responsibility.
In this perspective, the digitalization of know-how is not an end in itself, but rather a key enabler of an organization in which every individual plays an active role in decision-making and in the development of innovative solutions.
Thanks to all project contributors
We would like to thank all internal teams and external partners who contributed to the implementation of P-EV: thanks to your commitment and expertise, the company has taken a concrete step toward safeguarding its technical heritage and ensuring sustainable growth over time.
