UN 2030 AGENDA: a plastic-free coffee break with CICARA®
Our commitment to promoting practical actions for a sustainable future continues. The UN 2030 Agenda and its goals may seem distant, theoretical or difficult to apply in our daily lives. This is the challenge! We asked ourselves: what are the small everyday gestures when we work that we can change and improve for a sustainable future?
Coffee break is one of them. We provided our employees with CICARA®, a cup made of stainless steel and 100% recyclable materials that is changing the way we drink our company coffee. (Learn more about CICARA® and the progressive die we designed for its production).
By adopting CICARA® and the new vending machine with glass detection sensor, we significantly reduced plastic waste and achieved more sustainable waste management.
Another small step towards environmental, social, and financial sustainability under the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN 2030 Agenda.
